"Bought a few and the tester kit. I'm so impressed with these! Cut a seatbelt like butter (actually startled me because I used too much muscle), and the glass just explodes like in the video."

About the window breaker
Does the window breaker work on all car windows?
It breaks tempered glass. Most side and back windows, including sunroofs are tempered glass. It does not break laminated glass. Will NOT break windshields which are laminated. Not sure which you have? See the next question.
How do I know the type of glass in my car?
Look at the bottom corner of the window for a small label that says tempered or laminated. No label? Roll the window down and look at the top edge. One flat layer is tempered. Two layers with a line between them is laminated. Most sunroofs and back windows are tempered.
How can I test the window breaker?
Test the spike on a notepad or a block of wood. Push down and it clicks and resets. A small dent marks the spot. Want to practice on real glass and a seatbelt? This Training Kit has a 3 ft belt and three glass discs.
What if I have tinted glass?
Yes, it works if the glass is tempered. Tint does not change that. The tint film may hold the broken glass in place, so push it out.
With soundIs the window breaker reusable?
Yes. It is made for over 10,000 uses. The spring spike resets by itself. The steel blade can cut a seatbelt again and again.
How many window breakers should I buy?
We recommend two per car. One on your keys, and one on your visor.
What comes in the window breaker box?
One window breaker, one visor mounting clip, one key ring mount, two zip ties and one user manual.
Do the window breakers float?
Yes, the window breakers float. If you drop it as your car fills with water, you can find it floating easily. It floats with the visor clip on too.
How do I remove the safety blade clip?
Slide or snap the cover off in one quick move. Practice once before you need it.
Can I open the doors after the car fills with water?
Please stop sharing the myth that you can wait, take one last breath, and open the door. Water pressure keeps it shut until the car is nearly full. Instead, take off your seatbelt, then roll down or break a window early and get out fast.
Can I use the headrests?
Some headrests come off, but not all. Many seats are one solid piece, and a caved-in roof can block your headrest. Even a ratchet won't break the window, as you'll see in this video of a family trying it.
With soundCan I take the window breaker on a plane?
TSA has not named this tool on its banned list. It has a blade and X-ray may flag it, so pack it in your checked bag to be safe.
